Somizi spent R2 million on his daughter’s studies

Somizi (49) says he has spent about R2 million for the studies of his daughter – Bahumi Madisakwane (27). Bahumi recently celebrated graduating from a college and Somizi could not be more proud as a dad as he says she is the first person from his family to graduate.

It seems Somizi is currently enjoying the best moments of his life again as he is also sometimes seen happily hanging out with Mamkhize after the setback he had a few months ago of temporarily being stopped from working at Idols SA after allegations of abuse were labeled against him by his former marriage partner – Mohale Motaung.

Three weeks ago it was reported that Somizi Mhlongo had rejected Mohale Motaung’s pleas on the ongoing highly publicized abuse allegations matter to go for mediation. Instead, Somizi, wants to expose Mohale by airing the couple’s dirty laundry in open court.

Somizi reportedly wants to bring counter-accusations of physical abuse against Mohale and wants the divorce to play out in court so that everyone knows.

Given that Somizi is against mediation, the matter will now go for trial at the Joburg High Court. The former golden couple is fighting over the division of their joint estate as they were married in community of property. By law, they need to share their belongings as they part.

A source close to the matter told the publication that Somizi became frustrated when he failed to satisfy Mohale’s demands during the settlement negotiation. Mohale is alleged to have made the situation worse when he delayed signing off on the divorce proceedings by refusing to accept a combined summons from the sheriff’s office.
