Somizi Mhlongo opens up on losing another one in his circle

Media personality, Somizi Mhlongo may have it all but his weakness lies with keeping friendship. The Idols SA judge seems to have issues in keeping friends especially those in the entertainment industry.

I can count a few of them, Bonang Matheba who at some point was Somizi’s best friend forever (BFF) but it ended in tears as the two became sworn enemies. Bonang had accused Somizi of telling DJ Zinhle that she was dating her baby daddy, AKA, of which Somizi denied.

Also, Somizi had a fall out with his friend who was seen a lot in the first season of his reality show, TT Mbha.

Last year, we saw how the friendship between Somizi and Unathi Nkayi, who use to be Somizi’s colleague and fellow judge at the Idols SA came to an end.

The end of their friendship comes after Nkayi’s reaction to the numerous allegations faced against Somizi by his estranged husband, Mohale Motoung.

Last year September,Unathi made a post on social media about her reaction on the conviction of R. Kelly.

Unathi told her friends to stop playing R. Kelly’s music in her presence. This follows R. Kelly’s conviction of rape and sleeping with underaged girls.

A certain Instagram user commented and told Unathi that she’s still friends with DJ Fresh, Euphonik and Somizi even after they were being accused of what they were accused of.

Unathi replied to this and asked who said they’re here friends. She literally denied that Somizi is his friends.

Now, in his reality show, Living The Dream with Somizi season 5, the star told his new confidante, Vusi Nova that he is no longer friends with Unathi.

In this week’s episode, Somizi opened up about how he felt about it and frankly, he confirmed what fans had long suspected.
