The TV star has become one of Mzansi’s successful media personalities and he is living his wildest dream. Hot on the heels of announcing his collaboration with a successful local footwear brand Bathu Sneakers, where they launched his own sneaker line together #BathuXSomizi, Somizi has bagged another partnership.
The TV star took to Instagram this morning to share that that he has bagged a a new business venture with Mercedes Benz Sandton. The giant motor brand will be driving Somizi to his book-signings and sneaker launch tours.
In a post he shared on Twitter, Somizi expressed how excited he is for this partnership, “Super excited to be part of the @mercedesbenzsandton family……u know when I said I’ve gained the most powerful ancestor in my mom I guess she was listening…..to God be the glory.”

Somizi has been leveling it up lately. Firstly his cookbook, Dinner at Somizi’s – I Am Not A Chef was recently reported as the highest-selling book in the food and drink category 29 November 2020 – 02 January 2021 in South Africa.Somgaga said with his cookbook he wanted to create something authentic and special for his legion of fans. “When putting this cookbook together I really wanted to create something truly authentic and special for my fans. I wanted to show South Africans how easy it is to add “pizzazz” to everyday meals,” said Somizi.
On his collaboration with Bathu the brand’s founder Theo Baloyi said their collabo has been long overdue.The #BathuXSomizi sneaker has been a long time coming.
