Somizi Buyani Mhlongo is a famously well-known South African actor, media personality and choreographer, He was born on the 23 of December year 1972, He is 51 years old this year (2023). He was born in South Africa, Guateng province in Soweto the largest township in Johannesburg.

 

 

 

 

 

 

He was born by two famous South African actress and actor, His mother is Mary Thwala and a his father is Ndaba Mhlongo, Through the influence of his parents he got exposed to entertainment industry at an early age. He had one sibling, his brother who were fatal stabbed in year 1985.

Buyani’s acting career began when he was 13, appearing on the film Scavengers in 1987.In 1992, he then joined the musical and political film, Sarafina! in which he played a character by the name of Fire, but nicknamed “Whacko”.He also appeared in films including Kein Himmel über Afrika (1993) and Cry, the Beloved Country (1995).
