The South African idols judges raised eyebrows when they exchanged words as Somizi accused Thembi for not giving him a chance to speak.

At the end of last night auditons’ episode, judges Thembi Seete and Somizi Mhlongo went at each other and caused a stir. According to Somizi, Thembi does not allow him to do his job properly. Somizi claims that whenever it is his turn to speak about a contestant’s performance, Thembi always interferes and does the talking. He said this makes him look like he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Thembi defended herself by saying she’s also a judge and is only doing her job. She added that she will not be silenced by anyone.

The South African idols Season 18’s new panel of judges have been under attack by netizens. According to them, idols has become dull since Unathi and Randall have been booted from the show. One twitter user suggested that the argument between Thembi and Somizi was just a publicity stunt to increase the show’s viewership.
