“Till money do us part,” although they are going through divorce but Somizi Mhlongo and his estranged husband,Mohale Motoung have put their differences aside and got together on their fight for R1,5 Million.
The Somhale put on a ceasefire and ganged up against the popular TV producer, Legend Manqele whom they are suing for R1,5 Million for the broadcasting rights of their wedding ceremony.
Apparently Manqele failed to pay them this money and now the two are taking the matter to court.
Mohale and Somizi’s special wedding was broadcasted on Showmax.
Last year August, Somizi and Mohale announced that they are getting divorced after Mohale made accusations that Somizi assaulted him physically and emotionally. This was leaked in the audio clips between Mohale the producer of Somizi’s reality show, Legend, himself.
Although their divorce proceedings appeared to be messy but two have teamed up against Manqele.
According to the letter from the company representing them, Elahom Events, signed an agreement with Manqele’s company to film and broadcast their wedding for a R1,5 Million fee.
According to their lawyer, they wrote a letter to Legend in July 2021 asking him to pay Somhale but his excuse wss that he was awaiting documents from the South African Revenue Service (SARS), including some documentation from his team before he could respond to the letter.
