On Wednesday, 5 July, popular South African sangoma and reality TV star Makgotso Lee-Anne Mokopo, best known as Gogo Maweni showed off her latest Gucci bag via an Instagram post and had her fans and social media followers blown away when she revealed how much she had bought the bag for.

 

 

Gogo Maweni decided to spoil herself and get herself a luxurious Gucci bag. She took to her Instagram and showed off her Gucci Matelassé leather tote. In a video, she unboxed the bag which came in a green Gucci box and revealed that she had spent over R40 000 to purchase it. She could then be heard saying,

 
“This what 40k gets you at Gucci.”
According to the store’s website, the Matelassé leather tote only comes in black and has gold-toned hardware to it. It’s got an interior zipper pocket and comes with double leather handles with a 25 cm drop and 54cm length. It weighs approximately 71kg and is medium in size (W38cm x H28cm x D14cm). The Matelassé leather tote is also made in Italy. When uploading the video on her feed, Gogo Maweni gushed over her bag.

It seems that 2023 is the year for all good things for Gogo Maweni. Just a few days ago she posted her new white Land Rover on her feed.

Earlier this year, Gogo Maweni’s husband, Sabelo Magube defended himself against misconceptions that he was with his wife for the wrong reasons. According to TshisaLIVE, during a sit down with Showmax’s Sexy Love, Magube cleared the rumours that he was allegedly sponging off the successful sangoma and said that he does not have to because he makes his own money.

“I work and I have my own company,” he was quoted as saying.“I didn’t know what 40k looks like, now I know!” @lonz_malevels said.
