Speaking to MacG, he has it that a clause in the contract entitled lead actors to a stake of 14% of revenue, but that was not the case despite Generations having revenue of around shared R500 million. The failure to keep the promises that were made led to a strike which saw more than 14 lead actors axed from Generations, like Leleti Khumalo and the late Menzi Ngubane.
