Dhlomo is a broke man who took a vow to love and cherish. A man who knows he has a problem but is too proud to seek help because it makes him look weak.

A broke man who is Sne’s fairytale and her worst nightmare at the same time. A broke man who fits into society from the outside looking like a normal person, who is every womans dream but from the inside he is broken. We have a lot of broke men in our societies. They are sons, father’s, husbands, uncles and grandfather’s.

 

 

 

 

 

People hate the portrayal of this part because we are afraid to confront it in our society. As much as I don’t like it I appreciate it being shown on television. It makes us comfortable enough to confront our own demons. Great work to Dr Sphe, this part is made for you. You are really nailing it.

The problem with many women who are victims for GBV is to stay from the very first thinking the man will miraculously change until that fateful day. May women not let materialistic things cloud their judgement.
