Fans of e.tv Smoke and Mirrors have not been impressed by legendary actor Hlomla Dandala in the role of Caesar.

Former The River actor Hlomla Dandala broke his silence on replacing Zolisa Xaluva in Smoke and Mirrors as the new Caesar; he says that this is an exciting challenge for him as the character of Caesar is loved by viewers. His aim is to please and ensure that he delivers as a performer.

 

 

 

This is an exciting challenge for me … playing a villainous character such as Caesar will surely bring the best out of me. But, more than anything, I’m excited to be back with the e-family and I look forward to a real joyride as we enter the second season of the show, he saidDandala, the former director and actor on e.tv’s Scandal!, has a career that spans more than 30 years in the film and television industry. Some of the roles he has played include the character of Zweli on The River and Derek Nyathi in Isidingo more than two decades ago.
Recently, fans of the show went to X to express disappointment with Dandala’s performance and to call for Xaluva to return.Smoke and Mirrors viewers express dislike for actor Hlomla Dandala’s portrayal of Caeser.
