Lehasa felt neglected by Khwezi, so he called his uncle to tell him about what was happening. Uncle Phomolo called Khwezi’s family and requested a family meeting.

Khwezi’s family arrived in Joburg and found Khwezi with Nokuthula in the house. They asked Khwezi what was going on, and she told them the truth. She told them she did not want to be married to Lehasa anymore.

She told them that she recently had a dream about Lehasa driving a spinning car and he insisted that Khwezi should get in the car. Khwezi told her family that she interpreted that dream as a sign for her to leave Lehasa before she gets hurt. Khwezi’s aunt told her that she was being unreasonable for wanting to leave Lehasa over a bad dream.

Khwezi told them that Lehasa is in love with Pretty, but they did not want to listen to her. They told her that she has a baby with Lehasa and he married her. Khwezi cried because her elders did not see things from her perspective.
