Lizzy was preparing to go to work in the morning when she saw her mother laughing while reading the newspaper. She asked her mother to share the joke. “I see that Mr. Kgomo’s job is being advertised,” said Jacobeth.

 

Lizzy couldn’t believe that they were advertising the vacancy so soon after Mr. Kgomo was removed. Jacobeth told Lizzy that the hospital was looking for a replacement. Lizzy told her mother that she remembered Shoki mentioning that she would be looking for a replacement, but she didn’t know it would be so soon.

Jacobeth told Lizzy that Mr. Kgomo deserved everything that was happening to him because he had abused his power. Jacobeth said that she hoped the hospital would find someone with a good heart to replace Mr. Kgomo.

Lizzy told her mother that she hoped so too, and she left. Jacobeth continued to read the newspaper while Lizzy went to work.
