Jacobeth tells John Maputla that Mr Kganyago is not like him and he is a good man. This comes after John told Jacobeth that it is possible that Kganyago ran away with Lizzy.

 

Jacobeth does not want anyone to speak bad things about Mr Kganyago because she loves him. Mr Kganyago did not feel the love at all and he has completely forgotten about her. This is going to be a long way for Jacobeth to believe that she has been scammed by the man she fell in love with.

This is a lesson to elder women not to fall easily and ending up losing their loved ones and money.

Jacobeth will be the one to tell the story one day, because she is still in denial that her man will do this to her. There are so many mistakes that Jacobeth did in the relationship with Kganyago that got her to this situation.
