Lerato Marabe is a young successful South African actress best known for her role as Pretty Seakamela on SABC 1 television series ‘Skeem Saam’. She has been with the show for the entire eleven seasons and has gained herself pure love from millions fans across Mzansi.

Lerato Marabe was born on the 28th day of June in 1999. The 23 year old was originally born and raised in Vosloorus, in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng. She was raised by her mother who was a teacher in government public school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Miss Marabe is a very intelligent indipendent strong lady, she completed her high school educational at Boksburg and now she’s currently pursuing her degree in Film Editing at AFDA in Cape Town while working on Skeem Saam and other exciting projects.

CAREER

Lerato Marabe WAS very lucky to be selected as cast for the role of Pretty Seakamela in Skeem Saam thanks to her mom’s persistence in taking her for auditions even after many failures. This persistence was rewarded with the role of Pretty. She has played this role for eight years and started at an unbelievable young age of 11 years old.

She has also appeared on several other shows including isibaya where she played the role of Nelisa in the first season. Then after had a short stint in Mzansi Love as Babalwa as a recurring character in season 3. She was cast for the role of Mpho in the second season of Intersexions. She appeared in the first season of End Game. She currently has multiple upcoming acting projects.
