The South African entertainment industry has some of the most talented actors and producers in the world who work hard to provide quality shows. Despite their talent, some of the actors went to school to get professional qualifications to ensure that they reach their full potential. Today we feature actors from SABC 1’s Skeem Saam and look at their professional qualifications and degrees.Skeem Saam Actors And Their Professional Qualifications/DegreesAmanda Du-Point who plays the role Lelo/Nompumelelo of holds a Bachelor of Arts in Live Performance Degree from Africa Film Drama Art (AFDA), the South African school of motion picture medium and live performance. The beautiful actress also holds a Diploma in Acting which was awarded by the New York Film Academy in the United States of America.

Actor Clement Maosa, who plays the role of Kwaito on Skeem Saam, could have been a lawyer but said his calling to be an actor was too strong.

26-year-old Nozipho Langa currently acts on the SABC1 soapie, “Skeem Saam” as Glenda. She holds a Dramatic Arts degree from Witwatersrand University.

Clement revealed that he had always had the calling to be an actor, but his parents were, at first, non-believers and made him study law.

Cedric Foure who plays the role of Lehasa Maphosa graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits University) with a degree in Network Engineering.

Cornet Mamabolo who stars as Thabo Maputla graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Dramatic Arts at the University of Witswatersrand.
