South African rapper and singer, Sjava recently flew to the city of love, Paris after revealing that his latest album, Isibuko reached 42 million streams on major music platforms.The Shaka Ilembe actor and musician Sjava, who released his third album Isibuko earlier this year revealed he’s learning so much and having the time of his life in Paris.
The rapper shared photos of himself walking the streets of the French capital on his Twitter account on Wednesday, 26 July and Thursday, 27 July.
He also took to his Instagram account to thank his fans, all music lovers for streaming his music: “Thank you to all the music lovers for streaming our music Siyabonga.”
Fans of the actor-musician took to social media to congratulate him on his album success and react to snaps of him in Paris.The former Uzalo actor Jabulani Hadebe aka Sjava, who debuted on Mzansi Magic’s drama series Shaka Ilembe on Sunday, 23 July revealed to TshisaLIVE that his latest album Isibuko was inspired by a mirror he bought at a store which broke moments later.
“As a person you can get to a point of hating yourself. When you look at things like depression and mental health, it’s about you fighting what is happening in your head and the way you see things, but when someone looks at you, they can’t see it.”
Hadebe added that it can happen that when you look at yourself as a person and hate yourself, and there was a time where he felt like that, what he is doing is ruining himself, being famous and not having privacy.
“There was just so much to a point where I felt like if I did not do this thing I would have lived a better life.”
