There’s no great football without any great development. However, not many clubs have the relevant resources to be able to produce great players from the younger stage.

South Africa has lost such a great scout in Mamelodi Sundowns. Mandla Mazibuko was a great scout for Mamelodi Sundowns as he used to develop young boys from the street and bring them to the field. Suddenly, Mandla Mazibuko was reported passed away yesterday and Sundowns development with the senior club has suffered a great loss.

Simphiwe Tshabalala as a former South African player who also acknowledged Mandla Mazibuko as the greatest player developer has shared his sadness piece over the passing of this great man. He has shown that the country has lost the biggest man in football world that they will never have in future.

when we talk about developing players, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs are the best club that have been operating through the industry. Most of the players who are now playing for the big clubs such as the European clubs have been developed by Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns. Mandla Mazibuko was one of the man with Mamelelodi Sundowns who was the greatest scout among Mamelodi Sundowns and he has registered a lot of medals to the new generation who are passionate about playing football.

Players like Letsolonyane, Tshabalala, Itumeleng Khune, Teko Modise, Percy Tau, and others players who played abroad has passed through the hand of Kaizer Chiefs or Mamelodi Sundowns development.

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, Mandla Mazibuko will be remembered for his great job and achievements that he had shown before. Putting young boys before him and generating great players for South Africa that we need in competing with other countries.
