Zandile Khumalo-Gumede, a local singer who is also Kelly Khumalo’s sister, has surprised many by what she said about Senzo Meyiwa’s mother and his wife in an exclusive interview with a television channel.

Zandie is one of the people who were present when Senzo Meyiwa was shot and said Senzo Meyiwa’s wife Mandisa Mkhize should also be investigated.

The singer pointed to Mandisa and Senzo’s mother asking why they were left out of this case that has dragged on for years.

Zandi said they are surprised that since the time Senzo was killed, they are the only ones who have been accused of having information about Senzo’s murder.

“Sometimes when a person is killed, the accusations are directed at his wife. Why aren’t the police looking at Mandisa?” asked Zandie.

She went on to say, why did the police let Senzo’s mother go to the police because there was a time when she said on television that she ordered Mandisa to get the money and put it on Kelly so that everything she did with Senzo would end.

“Why isn’t she called and she will be asked questions?” asked Zandie.

Mr. Sfiso Meyiwa said: “We will not keep arguing with them. What they say is nonsense. What they say is rude because they know the truth.”
