Sindi Dlathu is a South African actress, and singer. She has been in the entertainment industry for decades. She is one actress whose personal life is not in the public. She has over the years managed to keep her private life private. She chooses to show people only what she wants them to know.

Even though she has appeared in many shows, most people remember her for her role on Muvhango as Thandaza. She was part of the show for more than a decade, until she moved onto become one of the lead roles on the River.

She has now been announced as one of the Co-executive producers on the River. This does not mean that her role as an actress on the show is coming to an end. She will be a producer, and an actress on the show. According to Kgopolo Mphela, this represents a huge milestone in empowerment.
