Simmy, whose real name is Simphiwe Nhlangulela is a South African musician and a song writer who sings neo-soul and neo-folk music. She is a fast rising musician who came into the limelight in 2014 after unsuccessfully participating in a song competitions in South Africa.

She has done several songs, some of which have put her in the spotlight. She aspires to work with the likes of country music diva Dolly Parton, Letta Mbulu, Sjava and Thandiswa Mazwai.
