Speaking to Sunday World, Fikile Ncwane said that she and her daughter-in-law have been at loggerheads for years and nothing changed after her son’s death in 2016.
She told the publication that their strained relationship took a turn for the worst when the former Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star applied for a protection order against her.
“The last time I saw Ayanda was in December 2016 at Sfiso’s funeral. Even then our interaction was not a pleasant one, there was too much fighting. But most importantly I was angry because I only saw Sfiso’s body for few minutes and I didn’t like what I saw.
“It’s almost seven years since his death [on December 5, 2016] and I still haven’t found closure. I have unanswered questions and the only person who can answer them is Ayanda,” she continued.
Fikile said that she wants for Ayanda to tell the world what really happened to Sifiso.

FAMILY FEUD
At Sifiso’s funeral on 10 December 2016, his sister and other relatives walked out of Moses Mabhida Stadium, citing not being allocated proper seating and having to sit in the rain with everyone else.
A few months later, The Citizen reported that the musician’s mother slammed Ayanda, accusing her of telling doctors not to show her the postmortem report.
In response, Ayanda rubbished the claim, saying: “If family members want to know something they know what to do. I will not disrespect my husband and publish his post-mortem report.”
She further said that after Sfiso’s death she immediately sent a car to fetch his mother so that they could “do everything together”.
