Shona Ferguson Laid To Rest. Gloomy Day For The Nation.

The media mogul Shona Ferguson is being laid to rest on Wednesday after he passed away on Friday at Netcare Milpark Hospital due to covid19 complications. Covid-19 has really left us with so many pain as people continue to loose their loved ones due to the virus.

It is really hard to imagine how Connie Ferguson will be able to go on without her soul mate. The man loved and adored his family. The television and film industry has lost dearly. Uncle Sho has helped so many people to find their feet in the industry. It is even difficult to watch some of the drama series especially where he played the role of Jerry Maake. He used to play like a robot and he did that very well.

In his acting career, He received the Golden Horn Award for Best Actor in a TV Soap and Golden Horn Award for Best Achievement by a Lead Actor in a Made for TV Movie.

The two were really a power couple of Mzansi. I really feel for Connie and the children, but time heals all wound. They will find their feet again.

This is what Connie said after the passing of Shona.

“I’m struggling to process everything that’s going on! It all just feel like a horrible nightmare that I can’t wakeup from! I feel like I am living in a twilight zone! I keep asking God why? Why Lord? Please help me understand! I trust you! I trust you to see me and my family through this! Please give me and my family the strength to carry on and continue our hero’s legacy! Only you can”

From what we have seen during the funeral, Connie is strong and selfness woman as she went on to comfort her sister after she left the podium. She could not just sit there and let her cry out.

Mzansi’ favorite couple met way back in 2001 and they got married the same year. June 2002, they welcomed their only daughter and child, Alicia Angel.
