It is that time of the year where most people are not at their beautiful warm homes but are out on vacations. A myriad of people prefer going on vacations in January where accommodations and flights are not pricey compared to the month of December.

 

 

 

 
Shalate Sekhabi who is better recognised as “Shoki” because of her stage name on the famous soapie, House of Zwide, is also on holiday. Before the commencement of the 2023 work, Shalate has chosen to go and refresh her mind at the beach. She is currently having the best and soothing time of her life in Durban, KwaZulu Natal as shared on her Instagram. As a family oriented person, Shalate values and respects family time. The Sekhabi family has dedicated the month of December as the month for spending quality time with family. They all come together in their beautiful and warm home located in Pretoria. No one is allowed to go and make a visit somewhere but to stay home and only leave the house to run errands. Because of this culture, Shalate was not able to go on vacation hence January is her month for travelling.

As a full time student and actress, the amount of work she receives in order to successfully deliver can be very strenuous. Although she is a hard-worker and very enthusiastic about her work, she sometimes suffers from anxiety hence a break is needed. The beach or water in general has been discovered to be a stress and tension reliever hence she chose to accommodate herself near the beach. She exceptionally prepared for this outing last year by saving enough money to pay for her flight, accommodation, clothes and entertainment as a whole. Her beautiful pictures of her outfit shows signs of a person who had long prepared for this vacation. She is simple yet nicely dressed for the summer and beach season.
