Shivambu opens a can of worms after trying to comfort Hani’s widow. See what people said to him

Chris Hani’s murderer, Janusz Walus was released on parole on 21 November 2022. The judgment to release him has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, including Chris Hani’s wife and politicians such as Floyd Shivambu of the EFF. 

 

Floyd Shivambu reacted to Chris Hani’s widows reaction to the judgment where it was clear that she was not happy about the judgement. Floyd said to the lady ” We will fight them Mama Hani! We will never allow this nonsense!”. 

His words, however, opened a can of worms for him as people started questioning him about the VBS scandal. Many believe that the EFF and Floyd have been involved in the collapse of the VBS Bank and they want them to take accountability. However, no court of law have ever found them guilty. Nonetheless, people still had this to say: 

” Start by telling Jacob Zuma who you had Tea with..That why was Jaluz Waluz in the Country as he was Head Of Intelligence of ANC. And Why was De Kok Rewarded by his Government when the Remains of Comrades are still Out There. Bloody Hypocrites”. 

” What about the gogos who lost their life savings to VBS ?”. 

” The Judges applied the law & not feelings or sentiments, as a lawmaker you should know that instead of telling ausie Limpho “revolutionary” lies.”

One person went as far as telling Floyd to return the VBS money first. 

Floyd probably did not expect this to happen or the backlash from people. However, Floyd has a responsibility to understand the constitution and the fact that Walus has a constitutional right to be released on parole aslong as he qualifies for it.
