24 Hours news channel, Newzroom Afrika has received some massive backlash following the announcement that one of their star newscaster, Thami Ngubeni would be leaving. The channel announced that Ngubeni would be leaving the station, but gave no reason as to why this was. Ngubeni started with the station when it was launched years ago.

 

In a tweet, the channel said, “Today is @lifewiththami’s official last day at Newzroom Afrika. Thami has been with us since inception and played a pivotal role in our journey. We wish her the very best for the next chapter of her career.” They however failed to disclose the actual reason for her departure.

Well one twitter user who seemingly is privy to the situation asked the station to eb truthful and explain why they had cut ties off with the veteran broadcaster.

“Do away with dishonesty and tell us exactly why you kicked her out. @LifeWithThami rejected the instruction not to wear miniskirts at work and she also refused to vaccinate, ” exploded one twitter user.

The station is yet to respond to these allegations.
