She must be arrested’: Uproar in Mzansi as fans never want to hear or see Kelly Khumalo perform

Social media users have slammed The South African State Theatre (SAST) for booking singer, Kelly Khumalo, for her second gospel explosion show.

The event will take place on Saturday, 26 August at the State Theatre in Tshwane and tickets are already on sale. The State Theatre is hosting the event in partnership with Kelly Khumalo’s company, KK Entertainment. On Friday, 28 July, the State Theater took to Facebook to announce the upcoming event.

They wrote: “SAST will be home to Kelly Khumalo when she brings her 2nd Gospel Explosion. Just be reminded that tickets are selling faster than fat cakes. You wait, you miss out! Webtickets online, Pick n Pay stores and SAST box office.”But not everyone was happy and a number of people said they will not be attending the event. They cited new developments in the Senzo Meyiwa case.

Llydo Matlou wrote: “After today’s revelations I have a reason not to come. Keep social distance, wear a mask and sanitise.”

Fikile Ngwenya said: “I’m coming to disrupt her show, we coming.”

Sibusiso Encore said: “Down the street there is a court in session and she will be singing and we’ll be clapping hands, SASSA FRIKA.”

Noah Makholwa said: “This one killed Senzo Meyiwa, allegedly.”

Meanwhile, on Friday, Colonel Lambertus Steyn told the Northern Gauteng High Court that Kelly was in contact with accused number five and three of the four other accused in Senzo’s case.

The Asine hitmaker has been under the spotlight since Senzo’s death. The general feeling is that she has a case to answer to, but she has profusely denied this. In all her interviews she has maintained that she is innocent and that people want her behind bars for something she did not do.
