The saying that when it rains it pours, might just be true as Zola 7 stands to fight a day In Court following fraud allegations made by Queen Kay.
According to Queen Kay, she paid the amount of R10 000 to Zola 7’s account as a booking fee, for him to perform, but the Kwaito star never showed face as he claimed that the money was sent to the wrong account.
Queen Kay, with the impression that she paid Zola 7 went ahead and posted a poster with Zola 7’s face on it, however, when fans asked the Kwaito star he told his fans that he has not been paid and as such he will not be performing.
In a statement written by Zola 7, he says “I know nothing about this event. I was not paid, but already I see there’s a post in circulation. If you attend this event to see me, don’t waste your time”.
Queen Kay insists that the money was paid and it was paid to Zola 7’s account, but since the Kwaito star disputes that, she has taken it upon herself to open a case against the imposter.
In an interview with Daily sun, she also adds that before she was a bit skeptical, but now she’s more than certain that she spoke to Zola as his wife and manager Siki Kunene have been begging her to change her story as it is making Zola 7 look like a bad person.
Queen Kay says the pair has since been harassing her although she has made it clear that she is not willing to change her story, and if they feel they have something better to say then they should also put their version of the story on a public domain where fans will be able to read it.
This is not the first time that Zola 7 is involved in such drama, as back in 2020 he asked fans to donate money for musical instruments for a certain boy, however, the boy’s father never got the money.
This comes as a great shock to fans as just recently, Zola was gifted money by his fans and MaMkhize so fans are failing to understand why could he be greedy.
