In a startling incident that has left many in disbelief, a man from Joburg fell victim to a cunning scam allegedly orchestrated by Lungelo Mpangase. The victim, who had entered into a relationship with Nikiwe Mpangase, found himself entrapped in a web of deception, losing over R150 000 in less than a month.

 

 

The unsuspecting man, whose identity remains undisclosed, was initially drawn to Nikiwe Mpangase’s charms. Little did he know that he was about to become a victim of a well-calculated scheme. It is reported that the man was coerced into covering various expenses for Nikiwe Mpangase, resulting in a financial loss that would leave anyone astounded.

Among the expenses that the man was allegedly manipulated into paying for was a range of luxurious items and allowances. These included a staggering R80 000 car instalment, an eye-popping R30 000 girlfriend allowance, an extravagant R22 000 for LV sneakers, and an additional R20 000 in cash as a girlfriend allowance. These demands would have put a strain on anyone’s finances, and it is a testament to the manipulative nature of the alleged swindler that the victim complied.
