She came and she conquered Berry is the Idols winner of season 17

Last night was the finale of the Idols South Africa show. The show received thousands of online auditions given the covid 19 regulations people couldn’t gather in large number. Only a selected few got their gold cards and qualified to go to theatre week. The biggest mistake most people do when trying to make it big on Idols, is that they don’t better themselves when they get home.

Although on the show you get coaches that guide your journey but also practice when you get home so you get a chance into the top 16 better yet the top 10. That’s what Berry gave the public, she became better every week. Berry was good from the first audition and sounded even better when she sang the next time.

Berry experienced a rollercoaster ride on the show, Randall wasn’t always pleased with her performances. However Berry never not even once had a frail face. She always embraced what was said to her. After 12.5 million votes Proverbs said there could only be one winner. It wasn’t mentioned though of how many votes each contestant had but Berry came out on Top.

After being pronounced the winner Karabo and Berry hugged and Berry’s lips said “I Love You”, probably that’s the most capturing thing about the Idols winner, she always wore her heart bare. Congratulations to Berry and her family, she leaves the show with a million rand , a car and many other prices.

The second runner up also gets a cash price, she already has a single and the gifts she recieved when she made it to the top ten. So Karabo is not going home empty handed. Idols will be back again next year for their 18 season. Congratulations to Berry and may her musical journey be a swift one. Berry must use every advise she got from the show but probably not one. Berry does not need a vocal coach her Vocals are already out of this world.
