Royal Andile Mpisane Football Club owners are known for a taste in finer things in life but not when it comes to their club’s playing kits, as President of the club, Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize revealed that she designers the kit the club plays in.

 

 

 

 

 

During the famous radio sports show, Marawa Sports Worldwide which aires every weekday between 5 pm and 7h30 pm on various Radio Stations like SowetanLive, Vuma FM, and Rise FM, MaMkhize revealed some parts about her team that many in the country did not know.

But the one that shocked most of the listeners as well as the host of the show, Robert Marawa was the fact that the 47-year-old business tycoon designed her own club’s playing gear, because given that she is a multi-millionaire she could easily use her influence to get big sportswear company to design the gears for her team.

The fashionista said her reason behind designing the kits by herself was to stop the criticism she gets from the public for always using big brands from outside the country, which is why she also uses an unknown company in Verulam, Durban sew the kits for her club.

She further went on to say that the eagle’s wings we see on the club’s shirt, will always be there in every design as they represent what she and the club are all about.

While closing the conversation, she also revealed in detail what is different about this season’s jerseys, and how she loves the fact that one of them has buttons while the other has a circle collar(closed collar).

I will be the first one to admit that ai doubted her ambitions when she first bought status from Bloemfontein Celtic Football Club before the beginning of last season, but the progress and things she has done in a season have changed my mind about her and her ambitions.

I now see her, as a perfect candidate to take over Dr Irvin Khoza as the Chairman of the Premier Soccer League(PSL) when he decides to step down.
