Twitter Saturday belonged to Zuzu Zungu and Lindokuhle Mboma. Their Twitter accounts were buzzing with updates and they kept up on our toes.

 

 

 
Today’s happening were nothing short of a comical show. From the moment I logged onto the bird app, it has been violence after violence. Educational violence.

Even Shaka Zulu was dragged to the chat. Why? Because a guy who scraped through matric managed to pass his Isizulu with 73%. Other tweeps dismissed the pass because he was doing Isizulu as an additional language.

Nonetheless, a pass is a pass and that’s what his supporters focused on; his homage to Shaka Zulu. The fact that out of the 6 subjects on his matric certificate, he managed to pass Isizulu so well, made the Zulu nation proud. He was said to be a Zulu FAL king who Shaka would have been proud of!

The entire chat is hilarious actually. I can’t believe he’s been reduced to a Zulu FAL king who is now the face of a ‘bad matric’ joke.
