Seputla Sebogodi is a multi-talented SA actor who doubles up as a TV host and a gospel musician. He is famously known as Kenneth Mashaba, in the SABC soapie Generations.


 

 

 

As a celebrity actor and musician in South African entertainment industry, the star has faced his fair share of ups and downs. For years, his controversial lifestyle continues to make media headlines, attracting public interest and mixed reactions.

He recently left the country in shock with his revelation.

Former Generations actor Kenneth Mashaba a character by Seputla Sebogodi exposed the alleged deep and dark secrets of the film industry, during a podcast session, he claimed that if an actor cannot fluently speak isiZulu, then they should be prepared to starve.

Sebogodi left social media users in complete shock and awe after revealing some of the alleged skeletons happening in the film industry. However, his main concern was not getting booked for jobs due to not speaking isiZulu fluently.

“We are not recognized, please check this, all the soapies, all the soapies. This year I said no to five soapies or drama series, I said no. Because you ask me, you ask me, ‘can you speak Zulu? If you can’t speak Zulu be prepared to starve. Tell me one soapie within Zulu’s. In South Africa if you can’t speak Zulu, you are as good as scrambled eggs”. Sebogodi said.

Despite his claims, Seputla Sebogodi continues to surf the country’s entertainment industry with his amazing talent in both acting and singing.
