However, it looks like he has decided to revisit his love for acting and will be returning to the film industry. The actor will be featured in a new movie called “The Way Back”, and it just makes sense why him. If you have not watched the movie, it is out already and available for streaming on eVOD. He will be joined by other great actors such as Siyabonga Thwala.

Twitter commentator, Phil Mphela announced the news of Thami’s new movie role on Twitter.

“Casting news: Thami Mngqolo in a new film. The former Generations star is starring in a new film directed by Zuko and Thandeka Nodala called The Payback. The film dropped yesterday and is available to stream on eVOD”.

Some people were so excited that they thought that it was not a movie, but a series. @ProssiPantsula said, “Oh I thought it was a series, saw the trailer and it blew me away”.

As we are celebrating his return, I long for his return to the daily television soapies where we get to see more of him as we used to. It has been a while since we saw him on television and him returning with a new movie is surely a good way to return.
