The slain popular Amapiano musician Dj Sumbody is being laid to rest today (Saturday 26 November 2022) at his village home of Ga-Masemola, Apel Cross in Limpopo.

The funeral is attended by too many people including his friend and business partner Cassper Nyovest. In a video that surfaced on social media Cassper Nyovest appears to be a little bit disturbed.

 

 

 

The video shows Cassper Nyovest sitted at what looks like a VIP section. The musician can be seen looking back and forth and busy brushing himself. He then later reaches out to a lady sitted closer to him to get a document which looks like a programme for the funeral service.

It is not surprising to see Cassper not relaxed, especially when we consider the way in which he lost his friend. Your friend cannot just be killed like that, then you go out to attend the funeral as if everything is normal.

“Cassper Nyovest is not feeling free out there at Dj Sumbody’s funeral. I heard that Malema is also there. SA Police Service, hope our people are safe.” A social media user posted on Twitter.

People who commented on the post indicated that it was a sad moment indeed. May the heavens, receive the spirit of Dj Sumbody in peace.
