Boikanyo has reason to celebrate today as she has graduated finally. The Scandal actress shared that she has finally attained her degree in Motion Pictures on her Instagram page. Having been in the spotlight since she was 13 years old, South Africans have watched this actress/ poet grow before their eyes.

 

 

 

Botlhale shared in her caption that she is proud of the qualification she now holds. She says she is now a qualified Director and Producer and is yet to make her mark in the world. At her graduation ceremony, the Scandal actress also won an Award for Producing. Boikanyo has also attained this milestone in her life at only 20, which is younger than the average person.

Botlhale changed her life in 2012 when she participated in South Africa’s got talent and won. After that, she performed at prestigious events, and she started landing jobs in the entertainment world. She was only thirteen years old when she stole the hearts of many South Africans with her poetry on the show.

Poetry is something that she started when she was only six, and she claims it was her first love before acting and directing. After Botlhale’s win at the competition, she took two years to release her first album called Spoken Word and Music. The album saw her receiving an award for the Best classic album.

On the Silver screen, Botlhale is best known for her role as Omphile on Scandal. She plays Ngema’s daughter, who is also Lindiwe’s little sister. Her role has been met with a few controversies as she plays a talkative and free-spirited High Scholar who has family, relationship, and education problems.

In real life, though, the actress is dating her boyfriend of three years, Kagiso Phaswana. Kagiso is a photographer, and the two share their love for each other publicly. A few days ago, they were on vacation in Mozambique on an Island, and Botlhale was posting pictures and sharing them with her fans and followers.
