1. Marjorie Langa (sis Gloria)

Marjorie Langa is a South African actress popular for her roles on ekasi : Our Stories and currently playing Gloria on etv’s Scandal! As her character plays ride or die for her villainous son, she is the reason why most tune in to watch the show. Here are real life facts about Gloria from Scandal!

Marjorie Langa was born on 23 March 1978 in Masehlaneng village in Mokopane in the Limpopo province of South Africa, and she grew up in Kagiso, on the West Rand in the Gauteng province. She completed her primary education at St Ursula Convent in Krugersdorp and went back to Limpopo for her high schooling at Capricorn High School. She studied Biomedical Sciences at the Tshwane University of Technology.

2. Brighton Ngoma (Quinton)

Brighton Ngoma started his career as a freelance stage manager. Then he started acting in the popular television serial Scandal as a featured extra. After the director saw his acting ability, Ngoma was soon promoted to a supportive actor. However after a few months, he was promoted to have a leading role of the character ‘Quinton Nyathi’.

Ngoma has a skin condition called Vitiligo, that causes the skin to lose pigmentation, resulting in discoloured patches.

3. Natasha Sutherland

Natasha Sutherland, is a South African actress. She is best known for her roles in the television serials Honeytown, Tarzan: The Epic Adventures and Scandal!. Apart from acting, she is also an author, motivational speaker and a counselor.

She was born on 20 November 1970, in Durban, South Africa as the daughter of choreographers Geoffrey Sutherland and Kenlynn Ashby.

4. Masasa Mbangeni

Masasa Mbangeni is a South African actress born and bred in Port Elizabeth. She is known for her role of manipulative Thembeka Shezi on etv’s flagship soapie Scandal for which she won the Best Actress Award in 2015. Posting her throwback picture she revealed that she misses being young.

She joined the cast of popular television serial Scandal! and played the role ‘Thembeka Shezi’. The role became highly popular, even though, she left the role in 2016. However, she received two nominations for Best Actress in a TV Soap from the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA) in 2014 and 2015 for the role. At the same time, she received a nomination for Best Actress in the inaugural DStv Mzansi Magic Viewers Choice Award as well.
