Dr Jerry Mofokeng wa Makhetha is a South African stage and screen actor who has appeared in several critically acclaimed films, including Cry The Beloved Country; Lord of War; Mandela and de Klerk; and the 2005 Academy Award-winning film Tsotsi. He is currently popularly known for his appearance on Scandal as Neo Mokgethi.

The star has been married for four decades, he and his lovely wife have been blessed with five kids including the famous Lerato Makheta. Lerato Makhetha is popularly known for his appearance on Isidingo and other popular shows, he was inspired by his father to become an actor as well. He is not only a talented actor but also an incredible father and an amazing husband.
