Sbahle Mpisane, the fitness guru from Mzansi, topped the trends when she engaged in an emotional Instagram Live. She was responding to a direct message (DM) on Instagram from a woman who advised her to amputate her foot in order to benefit from wearing heels and having more freedom. Sbahle read this DM while getting her tattoo, and it didn’t set well with her. She claimed that although she had to delete her Instagram account at the time, she continued to think about it and felt emotionally affected.
“I saw a DM from a girl telling me to amputate my foot so I may run, wear heels, and be flexible like her. I was like, “ugh whatever,” so I decided to just hop off Instagram, not pay attention, and keep working on my tattoo after reading her post. But the moment kept disappearing as I continued to think about it. After that, I start crying. The studio was large, and there were other people there. I sobbed aloud.
They were all enquiring as to whether my tattoo hurt. They questioned why I was crying, but I was speechless. I was devastated that someone could simply advise me to amputate my foot. Why would I wish to amputate my foot, for instance? She continues by saying that her mother requested the doctor not amputate her foot because it was practically hanging out following the accident. She claimed that Sbahle wouldn’t be happy and most likely wouldn’t be alive today if she woke up without her foot.
Year in review: Sbahle Mpisane and her near-death car accident
The doctor compared me to a toasted piece of bread that had crumbled up and had to be put back together, Sbahle added. “I’ve told ukuthi I fractured 80% of my bones so many times. People constantly have so much to say to me, and every time I look at them, I tell them that 95% of people wouldn’t survive what I went through. My body and face are both in wonderful condition, and I can still walk and put both of my feet on the ground.
Therefore, to have this chick order me to o and cut off my foot—the foot we spent a lot of money building, a foot my physicians had to attempt to build—is inexcusable. What are heels, men, for her to urge me to cut it off so I may wear them? Sbahle then began to lose her cool at comments made during her Instagram live where people advised her to simply accept the girl’s apology and move on.

She continued by saying that because of previous suicide attempts, comments like these make her feel a certain way. “I have [tried] to end my life twice as a result of you people’s f***n remarks,” I said. Sbahle continued by saying that she wished she did not have to be alive to hear the cruel remarks made by trolls.
She cursed at the trolls who left comments on her live video, one of whom claimed she was wealthy, as part of Fitness Bunnies’ ongoing rants. Sbahle requested that these trolls unfollow her because she finds it odd that individuals who dislike her do so. Sbahle then brought up the example of Riky Rick, who had a perfect existence but ended up killing himself.
