South African DJ Nkosinathi Maphumulo, popularly known as Black Coffee, has welcomed a new baby, according to his estranged wife, Enhle Mbali.
Up until early 2023, the award-winning entertainer – who was recently in a flight accident – confirmed that he was a father of six. But who is the new mystery baby mama?
Enhle – who shared the bombshell on Instagram – and Coffee have two sons together: Anesu and Asante.
ENHLE MBALI CLAIMS EX HAS ‘NEW BABY’
In an Instagram Live on Saturday, 13 January, Enhle Mbali reacted to news of her ex’s accident. But while she claimed she was concerned about his wellbeing, she did drop an interesting bombshell – the DJ had fathered another child.
She said: “I do not care. It’s his life”.
Enhle also claimed that she had also moved on and was dating again.
She continued: “I have freedom that I am enjoying right now. I dont have to share my personal life with you”.
Of her decision to seperate from the DJ, she said: “I left for a reason, And women take long to make a decision to leave”.
BLACK COFFEE: WHO ARE HIS KIDS, BABY MAMA’S?
Although Black Coffee has shied away from posting pics of his kids on social media, he’s made it known he is one proud father
In 2023, the star was the picture of a doting dad after he took his firstborn son Esona Maphumulo as his “plus one” to the Grammys
And what an experience it turned out to be for his son. Esona witnessed his dad scoop his first Grammy award for his album Subconsciously. He later dedicated his win to his children in a heartfelt social media post.
But what had fans intrigued was the DJ’s revelation that he had “five more kids” whom he hoped would also one day witness their father’s success on a world stage.
But who exactly are his other children, and who are their mothers? Here is what we know about the muso’s brood…
Esona is Black Coffee’s eldest son and is also in the entertainment industry as a music DJ. Whilst the identity of his mother is unknown, Esona once posted – and deleted – pics of her at his 21st birthday celebration in 2020.
He said: “I was only 23 when he was born…even though all the odds were against me…being a student and no job this was one of the happiest days of my life.
“His mother named him Esona Sinokuhle, his grandmother named him Mava, his unofficial name that I gave him was Mcebo for he became my motivation and the reason I woke up and chased all of my dreams I definitely didn’t want him to grow up like I did”.
