For those of you who don’t know Sarafina, it is a drama that was acted to explain or to show some of the events that took place during the apartheid regime. Serafina was the name of the drama and Sarafina was the charecter given to the main actress Leleti Khumalo.
Yea, some of the portraits were underrated and were misleading but 70 percent of the apartheid regime story was told. Some of the actors and actresses that we see today, were produced by this ancient South African Phenomenal drama, acted by the majority of young people who were just students. Among those were, Somizi Mhlongo, Vusi Kunene, Siyabonga Twala, Ma Ntuli from skeem sami, Vatiswa Nthara and Masasa Mbangeni.

This is Leleti Khumalo now, she has not changed that much from her old appearance in Sarafina. You don’t have to be told, if you watched Sarafina, you know, it’s her. She is now excelling in Duburn’s most wanted drama, imbeu. Hail Sarafina, hail
