It has become common where celebrities use up their money, become depressed, and move back home. Some recover, and come back to the spotlight after taking a well deserved break from the industry. It is always sad to see people that you once looked up to all dried up, and helpless.

Hugh Masebenza who is a South African actor, and mostly known for the role he portrayed as one half of gold-card-glam couple Paris and Zuko Zondi in the e.tv soapie Scandal. Masebenza is also known for the role he portrayed as Skomboze in the critically-acclaimed 2003 film James’ Journey to Jerusalem. He also appeared on a number of shows, such as generations, zero tolerance, and many other shows.

 

 

 

He also came to be well known as the Savanna guy for the advertisement that he did for the brand. He was first reported to be living in the streets back in 2015. He however seemed to have pulled it all together as he was even back on social media, but last posted in 2018. People have claimed that he is now living in the streets of Pretoria CBD.
