Sad News About Former 7de Laan Actress Themsie Times

A statement that was issued by the South African Broadcasting Commission has indicated that former iconic actor that became popular from 7de Laan, Themsie Times has unfortunately passed away at the age of 70. As it stands the cause of her death hasn’t been announced by the family. Join us as we take you on a nostalgic journey on her acting career dating back from the late 2000s.


 

 

 

Themsie was part of the 7 de laan cast for more than 13 years taking on the role Maria Zibula, a domestic worker that was a good friend of Angie. When previously interviewed by the Move magazine, she stated that she was a very different person when compared to the role that she played in person. She furthered her statement to indicate that she was a straight talker that love making people to be accountable for their mistakes, moreover her undying love for God.

Background history

It was at the age of 17 that she decided to move from her hometown in Port Elizabeth to move to the city of Johannesburg and persue her dreams as an actress. She comes from a very respectful family and had seven siblings. In the late 90s her parents unfortunately passed away. Just like any black girl, she was also subjected to the struggles that comes with being raised by a poverty stricken family.
