The daughter of Godrich Gardee, Hillary Gardee’s body was found four days after she went missing, near a plantation 40 kilometres outside Mbombela, in April 2022.

Sipho Mkhatshwa, Philemon Lukhele and Albert Gama are believed to have kidnapped, raped and killed Gardee who was 28 years old at the time in April this year.

 

 

 
The trial of Hillary Gardee is still on going with more suspects behind bars and now it’s taking six months since Hillary got arrested.

Few hours ago, the former secretary general of the Economic Freedom Fighters Godrich Gardee released a statement dedicated to his late daughter, Hillary Gardee.

“The hurt gets worse as the reality of the traditional Christmas family gathering without you for the first time dawns. All is well, all shall be well. RIP Hillary Gardee posthumous Merry Christmas and a Happy New in your Soul . We get tried for a reason!!! This too shall pass !!!”, says Hillary Gardee.

” It will get better with time my Commissar, all you need to do is to stay strong and keep her legacy alive and make her proud. Her spirit is with you all the time and she will forever be alive in all those who loved and love her still.”
