Musician Zola 7 has been doing so much for a lot of people in communities without expecting anything in return. The 5th Annual SA Heroes Awards will be celebrating the TV personality with the Ubuntu & Art of Giving Award. The award ceremony will take place on the 30th of September, 2023 at Joburg Theater.
The Founder, Amanda Matshaka, said SA Heroes Awards celebrate people who go out of their way to make a difference in their communities. She said, “These are unsung heroes who take care of orphans, they train and mentor young people, they help the poor, the elderly, and the vulnerable. We are proud to honor and celebrate these philanthropists and hope that our gesture inspires others to follow suit. We cannot wait for the government to better our people’s lives when we have it in us to lend a helping hand.” Zola 7 said that he is thankful for the recognition. Zola 7 is an award-winning Kwaito singer, actor, and TV star. He helped many people achieve their dreams on his show called Zola 7, which used to air on SABC 1. SA Heroes Awards says that what Zola 7 has done for communities throughout the years is the reason why he deserves the Ubuntu Honorary Award.
