The Springboks edged the All Blacks 12-11, with Handre Pollard being the difference after he managed to score all the penalties that came his way. On the other end, the All Blacks failed to convert two penalties, and it took a toll on the scoreline.SPRINGBOKS SECURE FOUR RWC WINS
South Africa’s defence was solid, and it made the difference. No doubt their win also saw them going down in the history books of World Rugby as the second nation to win back-to-back World Cup finals.

The Springboks won the ninth edition of the Rugby World Cup in Japan in 2019.

South Africa continued their perfect record in the Rugby World Cup finals, being the first men’s team to secure four victories. They have achieved this remarkable feat in the eight Rugby World Cups they’ve participated in, which is less than other teams. However, the win has come with much criticism from the All Blacks fans after the defeat. Against the win, All Blacks fans flooded social media with their two cents. Taking to Instagram, the All Blacks shared a heartfelt post that has since thrust rugby union into top trends.

@liamliterally posted: “Robbed boys… The whole country is so proud, we’ll get ’em next time.”

@dadswhite said: “Don’t know how anyone can move on positively, absolutely gut-wrenching. Our boys were robbed of the game they should have played, and we were clearly the better team playing most of the game with only 14. We definitely missed opportunities, but overall the refs won the World Cup final and SA benefits. Worst game I’ve ever watched. Chin up boys you’re the best team in the world regardless of that trophy.”
