Today,23 February 2022,we learn the sad news of another South African celebrity’s death,Rikhado Makhado best known as Ricky Rick. The rapper’s family confirmed that he died after committing suicide.

Ricky Rick met his wife Bianca Naidoo in 2010 at Sandton. The two had their first child,Jordan Makhado, later that year. Ricky and Bianca got married in 2013 and had another child,Maik Daniel Makhado in 2014.

Rikhado Makhado was a family man who loved his family. He shared a lot of moments with his wife on social media. One of those moments was when he was thanking his wife for saving his life on 01 September 2021, this happened just months before he took his life. See the picture of his beautiful wife below:

The South African singer also left a heartbreaking tweet just hours before we learn the news of his passing. His words were quoted from one of his songs, Home, which was released in 2020. See his tweet below:

“I’ll return a stronger man. This land is still my home,” wrote Ricky Rick.

Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado was born on July 20, 1987 in KwaMashu, KwaZulu-Natal. He was not only a rapper but he was also a songwriter, singer, composer, actor, businessman and fashion designer. He got his break in the entertainment industry after the successof his first single, Nafukwa, in 2014. Ricky was the founder of his own record label, Cotton Club Records. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Bianca and his two kids.
