Friends from the gospel music industry are currently sending their condolences:

@SpiritofPraise We lost a good friend and colleague today; Sipho Kaleni. We hope that God will give his family the fortitude they need to get through this. It is impossible to forget Sipho. Let the dead bury the dead.

@LifeWithThami Put all of your energy into your life’s work. Take your borrowed time serious. Consider your SOURCE to be credible. Make sure you’re taking your plan for success seriously. Don’t joke around. To Sipho Kaleni. I simply refuse to believe that you have made the transition. You, Umuntu, were a dynamic individual; you were gifted and visionary.

Thami Ngubeni elaborated on Kaleni’s character traits, calling him a “lover of God,” “family man,” “friend,” “leader,” “composer,” “musician,” and “broadcaster.” “God grant you eternal rest… Difficult to fathom, if you ask me… I pray that your loved ones will find peace in knowing that you lived your life to the fullest and ran your race with unwavering honesty and determination “Thami elaborated.

Sipho has been actively involved in the gospel music industry as a recording artist, theatrical artist, and producer since 1998, when he graduated from the Mbira school of music and arts (in Springs). One who writes lyrics, composes music, orchestrates, and cultivates new talent. He featured as a vocalist in South African popular gospel groups and competed in national gospel talent search programs. At Radio Pulpit, he was responsible for reviewing new gospel albums and listening to and reviewing new music of all genres in all eleven official South African languages.

Kaleni posted the following to his Facebook page a few months ago: “While I am still here, please acknowledge my existence, value my input, and recognize my accomplishments. After I die, I won’t be able to see your social media postings about my influence, so while I’m still here, I’d appreciate it if you’d laugh at my bad jokes, acknowledge my incredible gift and impact, and give your amen to my praise. If you love me, don’t save it until the grave. “Shalom” #IAmInfluence “.
