RIP: Funeral of The Queen’s Mpho Sebata

THERE is never a right time to say goodbye, no matter how strong you are but you will always be devastated by death and funerals, in most cases are very sad as the bereaved realize that their loved one is gone forever, there is no turning back.

We all see the bereaved crying as they’re engulfed with sadness and sorrow. The last moment, seeing a coffin standing there in front of everyone is just too sad to comprehend. Hearing people saying their final speeches about the deceased is also the sad part of the funeral. However, the most sad part is when the coffin goes down at the grave.

This was the situation Thando Sebata found herself in as she watched the remainings of her sister going down the grave, inside a casket, held by straps.

She could not contain herself but broke into tears and held in her father, Hector Sebata as she saw her sister’s remains for the last time. Sorrow engulfed her and the whole scene was quite sad to her, considering that they were very close.

Let’s give credit where it’s due, Mpho Sebata was given a send off that was fit and very emotional. If we were to describe her funeral,we would start with Jessica Nkosi, who plays the role of Thando Sebata. She gave us tears and everything you feel when someone passes on. It was a lot, she gave us the feels and very emotions.

It was clear that she sourced those tears and pain from a very painful and vulnerable place. We were blown to say the least.

Mpho was killed by hitmen on her father’s birthday celebration that were hired by the Khoza’s. However, she mistakenly died as the bullets were meant for her father, Hector Sebata and maybe Thando, the supposed masterminds behind Kea’s death. This was a revenge by the Khoza’s.

Early in June, Mzansi Celebrity News reported that Ntando Duma is leaving The Queen as she was going to new endeavours. She left for greener pastures as she got a role in Netflix project that could possibly put her on the map. She had just joined The Queen late last year and had received lot of criticism for her poor acting.

With her eyes fixated on the global acting scale, Ntando plans to jet off to be part of the Afrobeats in Cancun.

Viewers were very emotional at the episode yesterday:
