The funeral of the Popular Reverend Mthandeni Dlamuka from Moja Love reality programme Isencane Lengane is expected to be attended by many people across the country including respected people.
Dlamuka passed away last week after an illness that was Confirmed by the family. He sadly left 30 children and 35 grandchildren, will be buried today, in Ndonsa, Mabedlane in uLundi, KwaZulu Natal , A source Confirmed that he will be buried at his home cemetery in Mabedlane.
The spokesperson for the Dlamuka family, Sphamandla Ntombela, who is also their son-in-law, said that everyone is welcome to come and mourn with them.
He said it is still hard to believe but the family is cooperating as they want everything to go well.
Sphamandla Gcaba, who is the Chairman of the Olundi constituency, said that the people of Ndini have lost a lot as Dlamuka was a useful person in the community.
“Dlamuka was too young to get sick and leave us like that. Illness is what affected him but we are planning a decent funeral to accompany him with dignity as members of the community. You wouldn’t need a car, money or any help if Dlamuka was there. The orphans in the community were known by him who personally visits them so that they can sleep and eat, we as a community have lost a lot,” said Gcaba.
He said they are urging members of the public and members of his political party to come in large numbers to accompany Dlamuka.
Dlamuka started to suffer from illness last year, and recently his family revealed that diabetes and high blood pressure were the cause of his illness, and he died on Saturday in hospital.
He became famous when he appeared on the show Isenecane le Ngane preparing to marry his son Siyacela and his girlfriend Thando who have been married for three years now.
What surprised many at that time was that Siyacela and Thando were 16 years old and still studying at school.
The program that has been running for three seasons shows the path of married couples Siyacela and Thando in their marriage.
