Depression is invisible; it can strike anyone, even those who seem to have everything under control. Mild or severe manifestations of this condition are possible. The risk of suicide increases if this medical issue is left untreated.
Women are disproportionately impacted by depression, which affects about 16% of the population. Many young individuals, including people of all ages, have been affected by mental illness and its tragic consequences.
